Granite tiles are a smart choice where many people walk every day: lobbies, malls, restaurants, schools and homes. The stone is hard, it resists scratches, and it is easy to clean.
We cut tiles from selected Indian granite and finish them to your request. For outdoors, we suggest a flamed or brushed surface that is not slippery in the rain.

Granite tiles: strong, stylish and long-lasting
Granite tiles: strong, stylish and long-lasting
Granite tiles are cut from granite slabs and calibrated to an even size and thickness so they can be laid quickly and neatly. They are among the toughest floor tiles you can buy: they resist scratches, heat, stains and heavy foot traffic. That is why you see granite tiles in airports, shopping malls, hotels, offices, hospitals and homes. Natural Stone Cart is a granite tile exporter in India supplying standard and custom sizes in many colours and finishes.
If you are searching for granite floor tiles from India, natural stone tiles for wholesale or an Indian granite tile supplier, here is what you need to know.
Tile series: 30, 40, 60 and 120 cm
Our cut-to-size granite tiles are available in the 30, 40, 60 and 120 cm series, with different thicknesses and finishes. This lets you stock the popular floor and wall sizes as well as large formats for modern projects. We also make steps, skirtings, window sills and door frames in matching granite so the whole project looks consistent.
Sizes and thickness
Popular sizes include 300 x 300 mm, 600 x 300 mm, 600 x 600 mm and larger formats up to 900 x 600 mm or more. Thicknesses range from about 10 mm for walls and light floors up to 20 mm and 30 mm for heavy traffic and outdoor use. We can cut custom sizes for your project. Calibrated tiles have the same thickness within a small tolerance, which makes laying easier and gives a flatter floor.
Tell us your tile pattern and layout, for example running bond, grid or random pattern, and we will advise the best sizes to reduce waste.
Finish options for floors and walls
Polished granite tiles are glossy and best for indoor floors and walls. Honed tiles are matte and calm, suited to bathrooms and commercial spaces where less glare is wanted. Flamed tiles have a rough, natural surface with a high grip, ideal for outdoor terraces, ramps and pool surrounds. Brushed and leathered finishes give a softer feel and hide small scratches.
For wet areas such as bathrooms, outdoor steps and pool decks, we recommend a textured finish. Ask your local supplier or consultant about slip rating requirements in your country.
Colours that work
Black and dark grey granites give a bold, modern look. Light grey and white granites keep rooms bright. Browns and reds give warmth. Multicolour granites hide dirt well and suit busy public spaces. India offers a very wide palette, so you can match many designs. We share real photos and samples so you can check colour in your own light.
Use matching tiles for the floor, stair treads and risers, skirting and sills to give your project a complete, high-quality finish.
Where to use granite tiles
- Lobbies, corridors and shopping areas with heavy walking.
- Kitchens, where heat and spills are common.
- Bathrooms and wet rooms (with a non-slip finish).
- Outdoor terraces, driveways and entrances (flamed or brushed).
- Stairs, ramps and platforms.
Because granite is very durable, the tile often lasts as long as the building. This long life is one reason architects specify it for commercial projects.
Packing and shipping tiles
Tiles are packed in strong cartons or wooden crates with spacers, so edges and corners do not chip. Cartons are stacked on pallets, strapped and loaded carefully into the container. Weight again matters: granite tiles are dense, so a 20ft container is usually full by weight before it is full by volume. We calculate the load plan for you. Customs classification is generally under HS heading 6802 for worked granite, which your broker will confirm.
We ship from Mundra and Kandla and share photos of the packing and loading. You can mix tiles with slabs and paving in one container.
Get granite tile prices
Send us your tile size, thickness, colour, finish and quantity along with your destination port. A photo or a drawing is enough to start. We reply within 24 hours with prices, photos and shipping details. See also our natural stone tiles, granite slabs and paving pages, or request free samples before you order a full container.
Start with a trial order and grow from there
If you are new to importing granite tiles from India, we suggest a simple plan. First, tell us what sells in your market. Second, review photos and approve samples. Third, place a trial container with a mix of colours or sizes. Fourth, after you receive the stone and see how your customers react, plan repeat orders and volume contracts.
Many of our long-term customers began with one mixed container. We keep your preferred selection and packing details on file, so repeat orders are faster, and we keep you updated if a colour or size changes.

What affects the price of granite tiles
Buyers often ask for one simple price, but the price of granite tiles depends on several things. The stone variety and its rarity matter most, because some colours come from small quarries and cost more. Thickness, size and surface finish change the cost, since thicker and larger pieces need more material and more careful handling. Calibration, meaning how exact the thickness and size are, also adds work. Selection grade matters too: a premium selection with very even colour costs more than a mixed commercial selection. Quantity helps, because bigger orders spread packing and loading costs. Finally freight terms (FOB or CIF), the destination port and the exchange rate affect the final number.
Granite is very dense, so weight, not space, usually decides how much fits in a container. To get a fair comparison between suppliers, always ask for quotes on the same stone, size, thickness, finish and terms. We write all of these clearly in our quotation, so you can compare line by line.
